Rick Sutherland (third from right), a METCO student at Dover-Sherborn Regional High School, was selected to receive the Leadership Award from Concerned Black Men of Masschusetts.

The award was presented at CBMM's 16th Annual Unity Breakfast, a benefit for the Paul Robeson Institute for Positive Self Development, on April 2, 2005. Sutherland was congratulated during CBMM's Career Day by (left to right) Darren T. Wells, treasurer; Bill Walker, former president; Dr. J. Keith Motley,Chancellor of UMASS Boston and one of 10 CBMM founding members;
Frederich L .Johnson II, president;
and Thomas P. Stevens Jr., Treasurer.
